We wrote a song, while sitting on a trampoline & we loved it so much that we ended up recording it as a duet

I do not need some guy around in order to get inspiration, in order to make a great record, in order to live my life, in order to feel okay about myself. And I wanted to show my fans the same thing.

I've come to a wonderful realization that is fascinating: I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to love. No one does!

I'm intrigued and drawn to people who know exactly who they are, who know what they want, who live life on their own terms.

They can say whatever they want about my personal life because I know what my personal life is, and it involves a lot of TV and cats and girlfriends.

People talk to me a lot about, "Why don't you ever rebel?" And I feel like I do rebel. To me, rebelling is - is that rush you get when you sing a song about someone and you know they're in the crowd.

My ultimate goal is to end up being happy. Most of the time.
