My favorite place in the whole world is Nashville. Because it's my home, it's Music City. It's like, everybody there is so artistic and so creative, and nice! Everybody's really friendly.

In the beginning I remember when I would spend three hours a day on MySpace just trying to comment everyone back, and now, I spend a half hour a night on MySpace just putting up new stuff and answering people back and monitoring all the fan sites, and saying hi and thank you. I'm still way on top of it. I haven't grown out of it because it'll always be something that helped launch my career, and I'm going to keep maintaining it.

I get nervous for everything - literally everything.

One of my goals from really early on was that if I was ever fortunate enough to be successful in music, I would want to stay the same person and the same songwriter.

There are times when you get frustrated, but the one thing you always focus on is treating people well. You just cannot storm off and freak out.

If you cry over a guy, then your friends can't date him. It can't even be considered.

I wouldn't want to date a pushover who would let me make all the plans and have all the control.
