Two-thirds of Americans think our kids will have a worse life than we did. That is a powerful indication we are on the wrong path. I think we can change that, but I'll tell you, that's what I'm going to fight to do, and the reason so many grass-roots activists poured so much into it is they believed in our country. They believed in liberty.

President [Barack] Obama and Hillary Clinton are proposing bringing tens of thousands of Syrian refugees to this country when the head of the FBI has told Congress they cannot vet those refugees.

Let me tell you, communism does not work! Socialism does not work!

The media ought to be just giving a fair shake to everybody.

What is deemed "unlikeable" in Washington is actually standing up to Washington and saying no, saying "The emperor has no clothes," saying "We made promises to the people who elected us; let's do that."

In the Second Amendment, it's not about hunting, it's not about target shooting, it's about protecting your home and your family and your life.

The more liked you are in Washington, the less liked you are in the rest of America, and vice versa.
