I'm a big believer that good policy is good politics. And so, when it comes to making decisions on policy issues, what I endeavor to do is simply speak the truth.

A very good friend of mine spent a fair amount of time doing postmortems and met with a number of the senior folks on the Romney campaign and they spent, what was it, $140, $160 million on data. And this friend of mine, who is a very sharp thinker, asked a series of questions, but the most important one he asked, he said, "What decisions did you make differently because of the data?" And he's coming from the private equity world where he wants to know, OK, and the answer from virtually every single senior Romney person was "nothing."

The essence of the conservative message should be we want a dynamic nation where anybody with nothing can achieve anything.

Brexit is the people of Britain who are fed up with the European Union dominating their lives, and they want accountability.

I think the establishment donor class has begun to crumble. They`re searching for [Marco] Rubio, trying to get some momentum there. But the establishment in terms of the official elected leadership of the Republican Party, when you look at [Kevin] McCarthy, they`re starting to wrap theirselves around the idea of [Donald] Trump, holding back on an endorsement.

ISIS is gaining strength because the perception is that they're winning. And President [Barack] Obama fuels that perception.

I think that is why we're seeing conservatives uniting behind our campaign, because I have a proven record as a consistent conservative of standing up to Washington and fighting for the constitution.
