When I did my first film I kind of fell into it. I got cast in this movie called 2:37... the director, Murali K Thalluri, basically saw me and said: "I'm going to put you in this movie." And that week I felt like a void had been filled. I was so in my element. I was thrown in at the deep end.
Teresa PalmerAs for myself, I'm attracted to venture into places with peeling paint, and areas that are crumbling a little bit. It makes sense because we've already established the photography focusing on architecture, even if it looks incorrect, there's something appealing about entering that.
Teresa PalmerI had the best of both worlds when I was a kid. I'd spend a quiet week with my mum, then I'd go to my dad's property in the Adelaide Hills, where there were all these kids and animals running around.
Teresa PalmerI'm not really sure what the psychology is, but for me, I'm interested in it because it's such a juxtaposition to what is going on in my life with a newborn, as you can see. So because of that juxtaposition I'm really fascinated by it, but I'm equally terrified by it, and I think that diving in it makes me feel safer as a woman and a mother for some reason.
