How grateful we are that the heavens are indeed open, that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored, and that the Church is founded on the rock of revelation. We are a blessed people, with apostles and prophets upon the earth today.

May your homes be filled with peace, harmony, courtesy, and love. May they be filled with the Spirit of the Lord.

Choose your friends carefully, for you will tend to be like them and be found where they choose to go.

As parents, we should remember that our lives may be the book from the family library which the children most treasure. Are our examples worthy of emulation? Do we live in such a way that a son or a daughter may say, ‘I want to follow my dad,’ or ‘I want to be like my mother’? Unlike the book on the library shelf, the covers of which shield its contents, our lives cannot be closed. Parents, we truly are an open book in the library of learning of our homes.

Do not procrastinate. Someone has said that procrastination is the thief of time. Actually, procrastination is much more. It is the thief of our self-respect. It nags at us and spoils our fun. It deprives us of the fullest realization of our ambitions and hopes.

A woman needs to be told she is beautiful. She needs to be told she is valued. She needs to be told she is worthwhile.

Finding the real joy of #‎ Christmas comes not in the hurrying and the scurrying to get more done, nor is it found in the purchasing of #‎ gifts . We find real joy when we make the Savior the focus of the season.
