How much better the world would be if we all gave gifts of understanding, and compassion, of service, and friendship, of kindness and gentleness.

It is not enough to want to make the effort... it's in the doing, not just the thinking that we accomplish our goals.

Never, never, never postpone following a prompting.

Not a day has gone by that I have not communicated with my Father in Heaven through prayer. It is a relationship I cherish-one I would literally be lost without. If you do not now have such a relationship with your Father in Heaven, I urge you to work toward that goal. As you do so, you will be entitled to His inspiration and guidance in your life.

As the Christmas season envelops us with all its glory, may we, as did the Wise Men, seek a bright, particular star to guide us in our celebration of the Savior’s birth.

May we give as the Savior gave. To give of oneself is a holy gift. We give as a remembrance of all the Savior has given.

Work without vision is drudgery. Vision without work is dreaming. Work coupled with vision is destiny.
