Help others in their race of life. Remember that when you help another up a mountain, you are a little nearer the top yourself.

Mortality is a period of testing, a time to prove ourselves worthy to return to the presence of our Heavenly Father. In order for us to be tested, we must face challenges and difficulties. These can break us, and the surface of our souls may crack and crumble-that is, if our foundations of faith, our testimonies of truth are not deeply embedded within us.

Each of our temples is an expression of our testimony that life beyond the grave is as real and as certain as is our life here on earth.

The ability to communicate is not something we are born with. We have to learn it and earn it.

The power to lead is the power to mislead, and the power to mislead is the power to destroy.

We learn and grow and become stronger as we face and survive the trials through which we must pass.

As the Christmas season envelops us with all its glory, may we, as did the Wise Men, seek a bright, particular star to guide us in our celebration of the Savior’s birth.
