Serving throughout the world is a great missionary force going about doing good. Missionaries teach truth. They dispel darkness. They spread joy. They bring precious souls to Christ.

Finding the real joy of #‎ Christmas comes not in the hurrying and the scurrying to get more done, nor is it found in the purchasing of #‎ gifts . We find real joy when we make the Savior the focus of the season.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Watch your step.

Each of our temples is an expression of our testimony that life beyond the grave is as real and as certain as is our life here on earth.

Physically walking where Jesus walked is less important than walking as He walked.

A prayerful life is the key to possessing gratitude. We often take for granted the people who most deserve our gratitude. Let us not wait until it is too late for us to express our gratitude. Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it. If I gratitude be numbered among the serious sins, then gratitude takes its place among the noblest of virtues. To express gratitude is gracious and honorable, to enact gratitude is generous and noble, but to live with gratitude ever in our hearts is to touch heaven.

The person who is working on his or her family history fits the description of one who is fulfilling his or her duty. I know the effort, I know the expense. I know the difficulties through which one may go to uncover one name. I know our Heavenly Father is aware of these efforts. And those for whom we perform sacred ordinances are aware of our efforts. Oftentimes, in a miraculous way, there shall appear before us a clear pathway through a field of turbulence.
