It is not enough to want to make the effort and to say we'll make the effort. We must actually make the effort. It's in the doing, not just the thinking, that we accomplish our goals. If we constantly put our goals off, we will never see them fulfilled. Someone put it this way: Live only for tomorrow, and you will have a lot of empty yesterdays today.

May we be people of honesty and integrity trying to do the right thing at all times and in all circumstances.

It is imperative that we recognize that whatever has happened to us has happened to others. They have coped and so must we. We are not alone. Heavenly Father's help is near.

Love is the very essence of the gospel.

My brothers and sisters, do we remember to give thanks for the blessings we receive? Sincerely giving thanks not only helps us recognize our blessings, but it also unlocks the doors of heaven and helps us feel God's love.

The all-important and crowning blessings of membership in the Church are those blessings which we receive in the temples of God

Love thy neighbor is more than a divine truth. It is a pattern for perfection.
