Don't ask me about my career - I've forgotten most of it.

I'm guessing the stress of having to write for a deadline can be inspiring. Sometimes, pressure is good.

In animation, you can throw away people's defense. You can go right to the center of things, right through inside someone's heart. The characters anyway, they do represent different aspects of all of us - and put them all together, you get a human being. And so it's got a wonderful purity, a real purity that's so moving, exiting, everything.

It's very important to make the man believable so that you can stretch the fantasy. Whether people like this kind of Bond is another question.

If you grow up in Britain, you just do Shakespeare. If you go and work in a theater once or twice or three times in your life, you're going to end up doing a Shakespeare, because he's obviously such a brilliant, brilliant writer.
