How do you change your behavior? Change what you worship

The world is a dark place, and yet the coming of Jesus Christ shows us no one and nothing is hopeless.

To say doctrine doesn't matter, only how you live matters, is itself a doctrine. It's the doctrine of salvation by works.

Sin is the despairing refusal to find your deepest identity in your relationship and service to God.

How you experience your present is completely shaped by what you believe your ultimate future to be.

In religion, you obey because God is useful. In Christianity, you obey because God is beautiful.

I wouldn't venture to say which kind of sin is more prevalent. I wouldn't even want to try to characterize certain 'circles.'
