Jesus Christ doesn’t just give us truths; he is the truth. Jesus Christ is the prophet to end all prophets. He gives us hard-copy words from God, truths on which we can build our lives, truths we have to submit to, truths we have to obey, and truths we have to build our lives on, but he himself is the truth.

All human problems are ultimately symptoms, and our separation from God is the cause.

How do you change your behavior? Change what you worship

Those who understand the gospel cannot possibly look down on anyone, since they were saved by sheer grace, not by their perfect doctrine or strong moral character.

But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God.

The gospel frees us from the relentless pressure of having to prove ourselves, for we are already proven and secure.

Without the gospel we hate ourselves instead of our sin.
