The gospel is not only the way to enter the kingdom; it is the way to live in the kingdom.

If you seek to serve people more than to gain power, you will not only serve people, you will gain influence.

The world says you are loved because of what you do. Jesus says you can now do all things because you are loved.

You are a totally loved moral failure.

Holding a grudge against someone means you think you know what they deserve and you take it upon yourself to give it to them.

God's salvation does not come in response to a changed life. A changed life comes in response to the salvation, offered as a free gift.
