For every one look at your sins, take five looks at your Savior.

If we can't "love the sinner; hate the sin" then how can we relate to ourselves? Love who we are in Christ but still hate the sin remaining.

The happy ending of the Resurrection is so enormous that it swallows up even the sorrow of the Cross.

Everyone worships something. The only choice you get is what to worship.

On the cross Jesus was treated as an outcast so that we could be brought into God's family freely by grace.

Our culture says that feelings of love are the basis for actions of love. And of course that can be true. But it is truer to say that actions of love can lead consistently to feelings of love.

The cross is the place where the Judge takes the Judgment.
