It's a piece of property that, if you're going to have a development out here, you need to have a golf course because you need to take care of the effluent water being created by the development.

We went around and looked and talked to a lot of foundations with those charities and decided upon the Childrens Hospital. They had a golf tournament at the time, but it was a small event that didnt raise a significant amount of money.

The corporate outings were fun, but after doing them for 25 years, they got to be a little old hat.

You still remember the bad rounds here, but they don't stay with you as long. The Champions Tour is great, it's competitive and it's a wonderful show, but it's not the real big league. The real big league is the PGA Tour, and we all know that.

Now the Kids Classic is one of the major fund-raisers for Children's Hospital. Since we started seven years ago, we've raised more than $1 million for the hospital.
