Probably we'll think of Bush in years to come as an American hero.

We're interested in it because it would provide a land bridge up to Uzbekistan, which provides us, among other things, a humanitarian pathway for us to move supplies out of Central Asia and down into Afghanistan.

There is no doubt that the regime of Saddam Hussein possesses weapons of mass destruction. As this operation continues, those weapons will be identified, found, along with the people who have produced them and who guard them.

As I look at President Bush, I think he will ultimately be judged as a man of extremely high character.

We're in fact on plan. And where we stand today is not, in my view, only acceptable but truly remarkable.
