When I got home from The Ozzfest in September 2000 with Methods... I just locked myself in my house and I started writing.

There's Tommy, Tommy Lee the rock star, and Tommy the dad. I'm wearing several hats these days.

My father lived by the philosophy, 'Be yourself, because everyone else is taken,' and he made sure I did, too. Whatever I wanted to do, he supported me. I don't mean that I was spoilt - he didn't believe in material gifts - but he watched my back while I worked to achieve things.

Imagine how frustrating it is, being completely locked up and watching your family leave, your wife and children, and not being able to do anything about it.

Single's fun - you don't have to check in with your girl, but it's not easy. I do get lonely.

Whenever I write, I only write about what I know or what I have experienced or feeling.
