The only reason we really pursue goals is to cause ourselves to expand and grow. Achieving goals by themselves will never make us happy in the long term; it's who you become, as you overcome the obstacles necessary to achieve your goals, that can give you the deepest and most long-lasting sense of fulfillment.

There is always a place in the world for those who are willing to give of their time, energy, capital, creativity, and commitment.

Nothing has to happen for me to feel good! I feel good because I'm alive! Life is a gift, and I revel in it.

To this day, even when I hear about problems, as you've probably noticed, I tend to call them challenges. I don't dwell on them, and I immediately focus on how I can convert the challenge into an opportunity.
