Sometimes, I actually end up doing three or four different versions of one song, and sometimes, those versions can be done very differently. They can be very laid back, downtempo, or sometimes the same song can be quite uptempo. But it is always the same melody and chord progressions.
TrentemøllerI really like to be alone. It's nearly like being naked in the studio, and if someone were to walk in, that wouldn't feel good.
TrentemøllerI really love the fact that instrumental music can have you do your own inner-movies or your own visuals to the sound. There's not lyrics dictating what you should feel.
TrentemøllerIt's not always possible to play a song exactly as it is on the album. That's also something that I really don't want to do because I like to have versions that also adapt to the band, so that is always a big challenge to see how we can transform those songs so it feels natural.
