I try to stay grounded by keeping the people around me as a small group; people who I love and trust. I try to explore and be outside, and I'm a very grateful person so that keeps me grounded. And as much as I do enjoy social media, I try to back off it a bit when I'm out and about.

I don't go long without eating. I never starve myself: I grab a healthy snack.

It's important to have people around who love themselves, are true to themselves, who have their own hobbies and their world doesn't revolve around Hollywood. I can always go to my family with any doubts or questions I may have.

I was actually home-schooled, so I never had the opportunity of going to prom. No-one invited me, I didn't have a good friend like Ashley at the time, that's why High School Musical's been so much fun for me because I got to experience my prom through it. There were amazing friends and I got to wear really cool dresses. It was a fantasy.

When you're putting good stuff into your body, you feel so much better.

I love finding things that scare me and doing them. That's how you grow.

It's always great to play parts that are larger than life.
