I have a theory that selflessness and bravery aren't all that different.
All I want is to become someone new. In this case, Tobias Johnson, son of Evelyn Johnson. Tobias Johnson may have lived a dull and empty life, but he is at least a whole person, not this fragment of a person that I am, too damaged by pain to become anything useful.
But maybe what I saw as fearless was actually fear under control.
It's like he knows, he knows I have a thing for her.
I never thought I would need bravery in the small moments of my life. I do.
What irritates me most about him is his natural goodness, his inborn selflessness.
