Not being heard is no reason for silence.

Enormous gearing, whose first motor is the gnat, and whose last wheel is the zodiac.

In the relations of man with the animals, with the flowers, with all the objects of creation, there is a whole great ethic, scarcely perceived as yet, which will at length break through into the light, and which will be the corollary and the complement to human ethics.

Social prosperity means man happy, the citizen free, the nation great.

So a voice in the mountain is enough to let loose an avalanche. A word too much may be followed by a caving in. If the word had not been spoken, it would not have happened.
