This is a region [ Far East] with a substantially developed transport and railroad infrastructure. In recent years we have been actively developing road connection.

Russia will not soon become, if it ever becomes, a second copy of the United States or England - where liberal value have deep historic roots.

There are many other areas. And I am confident that each of them is of interest to both the people of the United States of America and the Russian people.

Nobody should pin their hopes on a miracle.

Nothing matters for a drastic change in Ukraine more than political transformations.

As for these 60 years, and in general more than a hundred years, we have had different periods in relations and there have been tragic pages in our history, but since 1956 when we restored diplomatic relations, regrettably, we have not had a foundation on which to build ties that would correspond to our wishes and that are currently required in bilateral cooperation with Japan.

My personal position is that society must keep children safe.
