Mark Zuckerberg will be a hero to many young entrepreneurs 20 years from now. Bill Gates will be a hero to others, and they will look to those [people] like I read books when I was in my teens about Rockefeller or Carnegie.

We can afford to lose money - even a lot of money. But we can't afford to lose reputation - even a shred of reputation.

To be successful, you should concentrate on the world of companies, not arcane accounting mathematics.

Invest in as much of yourself as you can, you are your own biggest asset by far.

And as a practical matter, I mean if you were Bear Stearns, and you were a shareholder, you know, you lost 90 to 95 percent of your money. A good many lost their jobs. They lost very cushy lives, many of them.

With enough insider information and a million dollars, you can go broke in a year.

I've made money over the years by buying into good companies, run by good people, at attractive prices. And I don't try and make it out of buying into the market at one point and selling at another point.
