If I could define enlightenment briefly I would say it is 'the quiet acceptance of what is'.

Every thought you have affects everything in your body.

I do not concern myself with being unique, and I do not concern myself with success. I feel I just do and say what I am supposed to. I do not know where it comes from. I go where I am told, and I just allow whatever it is to come out.

But if we see ourselves as connected to God, or as reconnecting to our Source through meditation, then we can attract anything we want into our lives.

Within you is the kingdom of serenity that can create all the prosperity you could ever want.

When I'm on purpose - when I'm allowing Source to come through - it's always there. At those times, I'm not focused on any ego sense about how much I'm going to make, how well a book is going to do, whether people are going to buy it, or any of that. I just go to a state of awe and gratitude - I'm deeply, profoundly grateful - and it just works. The first words out of my mouth every morning are "I thank you."

When you move into a spiritual approach to life you begin to see yourself as connected to everyone and everything, and competition is replaced by something called cooperation.
