Most of us are totally, completely misaligned. God-consciousness is up there, while most of us live down here at ego-consciousness. But what's up there can't recognize what's down here. If you were a frog, and you were trying to see what this room is like, what would you see? Just try and picture it.

God is the highest place within each and every one of us. It's our divine self.

No one knows enough to be a pessimist

Like a lot of us, sometimes I'm preaching to the choir, and sometimes my voice doesn't even get heard at all. Sometimes I think that what I'm writing now might not even have an impact for the next three or four generations. Sometimes I sit there and write, and I think, "It'll be two hundred years before they get what I'm writing about."

There's only one boss in your life . . . and that's you! The person looking back in the mirror at you is the one you have to answer to every day.

Be the cure. Don't look outside yourself for it.
