You have to create something in a way that has direction, that it has vision, and then your partner will take it and figure out whatever their expertise is.

You'd be surprised how much you don't understand what other people see your actions as; how other people view the things you say and the things that you do. And a lot of times just clarifying what your intentions are with people makes a huge difference.

And where I excel is ridiculous, sickening, work ethic. You know, while the other guy's sleeping? I'm working.

You might be [outshining me in many ways]. But if we get on a treadmill, there are two things: you're getting off first or I'm going to die. It's that simple, right?

Don't let failure go to your heart, and don't let success go to your head.

I want to be the person that is the first person there and the last person to leave. That's who I want to be, because I think the road to success is through commitment, and through the strength to drive through that commitment when it gets hard. And it is going to get hard and you're going to want to quit sometimes, but it'll be colored by who you are, and more by who you want to be.
