Advances in computer technology and the Internet have changed the way America works, learns, and communicates. The Internet has become an integral part of America's economic, political, and social life

Everybody counts, everybody deserves a chance, everybody has a responsible role to play and we all do better when we work together.

Food is a big bargain in America, and you can go to these places, we all like them, and you get big portions, and they taste good. But they're higher in fat than ever before. And same thing has happened, by the way, though, to school menus. A lot of school lunch menus have more fat and more sugar than ever before.

And I'd like to say to the Senate, I hope you will say yes to a stronger American democracy in the year 2000.
