If your heart is dead, know that the One who can give life to the dead body, can give life to your dead heart.

Don’t always want to go up. Go down, like water, because eventually it’ll go up again. Just like rain, it falls from the sky, flows as a river, then merges with the sea, the goes up again as a cloud.

Your calamity was sent to bring you back to the Quran. But the greater calamity is that you missed the point.

The people are only tools, a means used by God. But they are not the sourse of help, aid, or salvation of any kind. Only God is. The people cannot even create the wing of a fly (Quran, 22:73).

It isn't a coincidence that prayer was commanded right after the year of sadness. The prayer was the greatest comfort.
