Aladdin' was probably my favorite Disney animation when I was a kid. The animation was great and Robin Williams was unbelievable as the Genie. 'Aladdin' was an amazing adventure and the lead character was a hero for guys, which I loved. It wasn't a princess or a girl beating the odds; it was a street rat. That seemed really cool to me.

Television is a pretty great job, to begin with, and I wouldn't have anything, if it weren't for the jobs that I've had in the past that have built up to that

Oftentimes, people start with something, whatever it is, and it's great, but over the years, it loses its focus or way and corners get cut. Some people are fine with that, but I'm not.

I wish it was a little easier for an actor to later go into singing and have it be accepted, but maybe I can still do it.

I'm going to trust God that I'm not going to completely burn out, and that I'll have the energy in me to stay in it. Fortunately, I have really excellent people around me that are helping me.

My family was always very supportive. Whether you're an actor or not, everybody hears the horror stories of people going to L.A. and trying to be an actor, and their dreams are crushed, and they end up working for the IRS. So they were always protective to the point that they wanted me to have a backup plan, which is understandable, but there was always something inside of me that knew: backup plan, schmackup plan.

You know, Hollywood is a very interesting town - always has been, always will be.
