Fortunately, problems are an everyday part of our life. Consider this: If there were no problems, most of us would be unemployed. Realistically, the more problems we have and the larger they are, the greater our value to our employer.

God showed me that He could and would replace everything that was missing in my life, but that nothing could replace Him in my life.

Even people who don't share my specific faith (denomination, beliefs, etc.) are typically enthusiastic about my profession of faith in God and my commitment to living to God-given standards.

You'll never meet a happy ungrateful person, or an unhappy grateful person because gratitude and happiness go together. Sometimes happiness precedes gratitude but often gratitude precedes happiness. The latter is achieved by realising things could be worse but aren't and so feeling relieved, grateful and happy.

Making a big life change is pretty scary. But know what's even scarier? Regret.

It is nobler to love the person next to you than to love mankind in general.

When you focus on problems, you get more problems. When you focus on possibilities, you have more opportunities.
