Jesus Christ left us an example for our daily conduct. He felt no bitter resentment and He held no grudge against anyone! Even those who crucified Him were forgiven while they were in the act. Not a word did He utter against them nor against the ones who stirred them up to destroy Him. How evil they all were. He knew better than any other man, but He maintained a charitable attitude toward them.

The best preparation for worship is not a rehearsal, but surrender.

God loves us for ourselves. He values our love more than he values galaxies of new created worlds.

The body becomes stronger as its members become healthier. The whole church of God gains when the members that compose it begin to seek a better and a higher life.

But the sons of this world have not God; they have only each other, and they walk holding to each other and looking to one another for assurance like frightened children.

Whatever may befall us, God knows and cares as no one else can.

To know the Creator and the God of all the universe is to revere Him. It is to bow down before Him in wonder and awesome fear.
