A live body and a dead body contain the same number of particles. Structurally, there's no discernible difference. Life and death are unquantifiable abstracts. Why should I be concerned?

They can read it at their own pace, and if there's a piece of dialogue that seems to echo something a few pages back, they can flip back and check it out, whereas the audience for a film is being dragged through the experience at the speed of 24 frames per second.

Alan MooreLSD was an incredible experience. Not that Iโm recommending it for anybody else; but for me it kind of โ it hammered home to me that reality was not a fixed thing. That the reality that we saw about us every day was one reality, and a valid one โ but that there were others, different perspectives where different things have meaning that were just as valid. That had a profound effect on me.
