Anytime there's separatism going on. It happens all the time, because the illusion before us is that we are separate. It gives us this sense of egoic identity, which is lovely in its own way.

I understand that people are afraid. Because I think censorship is about fear. It's just fear being projected onto art.

Courage and willingness to just go for it, whether it is a conversation or a spontaneous trip or trying new things that are scary - it is a really attractive quality.

...and what it all comes down to is that I haven't got it all figured out just yet.

I'm lost, but I'm hopeful.

I hope that there is a very confused 14 year old girl out there who hears me speak or hears me sing and derives some sort of strength from that I heard that when I was 14 that's exactly what happened.
