If I die unexpectedly can everyone just do the right thing and pretend I was a way better person than I am?
Anna KendrickI stole comic books from my brother when I was a kid, but I was never like an avid fan. I can't claim to be like a comic book geek.
Anna KendrickMy parents were really, really cool about supporting what I wanted to do at a really young age. I think I was about 10 when I caught the bug. They would drive me down to New York if there were auditions. When I was 12, I did this show on Broadway called 'High Society,' so we moved to New York for the run of that.
Anna KendrickI started auditioning when I was about 10 and I didn't get my first job until I was 12, and two years at that age is really hard.
Anna KendrickMy mom was always a fan of just really elegant, sophisticated pieces. I mean we grew up in Maine, so we didn't have a lot of call for black tie or anything, but I think I definitely got that sensibility from her.
Anna KendrickIโve never felt like Iโve exactly traded on my looks. When I was a teenager, I was an ultra-late bloomer, and my mom would say it was a blessing, because it means you never have to wonder if guys are only interested in you because youโve got boobs. I would have been thrilled if guys were interested in me because of my boobs! Similarly, I think Iโm lucky that Iโve never had a crisis about whether the only reason Iโm successful is because Iโm crazy hot. Itโs not something that crosses my mind.
