CEOs of large corporations earn 400 times what their workers make. That is not what America is supposed to be about.

I think our trade policies, for many, many years, have been a disaster. They have benefited corporate America at the expense of working people.

Debating, doubting, or rejecting the basic scientific facts about climate change in the face of the overwhelming evidence and overwhelming scientific opinion will not change those facts.

We need to take a hard look at the war on drugs and the number of non-violent offenders who end up getting their lives destroyed by going to prison. We need to look at mandatory minimum sentencing and give judges more flexibility when there are issues of drug abuse or addiction.
