I've grown so much. I'm more picky about what I'll do,and I'm more of a businesswoman. But at the same time, I take care of myself. All I used to do was work. Now I'm comfortable in my own skin and have a good balance.

I grew up in a very nice house in Houston, went to private school all my life and I've never even been to the 'hood. Not that there's anything wrong with the 'hood.

I can not imagine my life if I didn't have a music program in my school.

I have learned that it is no one else’s job to take care of me but me.

I like to walk around with bare feet and I don't like to comb my hair.

Just because you become a mother, it doesn't mean you lose who you are.
