I wonder if people who asked for God to intervene in our world, really know what they are asking. Will they want to be there when God really does intervene?

I dread specialists in power because they are specialists speaking outside of their special subject.

God is no fonder of intellectual slackers than of any other slackers. If you are thinking of becoming a Christian, I warn you you are embarking on something which is going to take the whole of you, brains and all.

Human intellect is incurably abstract.

It is not your business to succeed, but to do right. When you have done so the rest lies with god.

Now God, who has made us, knows what we are and that our happiness lies in Him.
