We are looking at live pictures at this moment of a protest that is happening in Atlanta, Georgia, I believe, that has been assembled by the NAACP in protest, of course, of the shooting of Keith Lamont Scott.

I think it`s fair to say there`s some significant portion of the community that doesn`t feel they can take the Charlotte police at their word.

One of the main point of contention is whether or not Keith Scott was in possession of a gun. We still don`t know. Police say he did have a gun. The gun was recovered.

I mean,[Marco] Rubio, he`s having fun. I`ve got to say I`ve never seen him enjoy himself out there so much. He`s found way to get under his skin. So, he`s found way to look like he`s somebody that is a force, which has hasn`t so far.

Americans like to humiliate wrongdoers...We like, in short, to punish. It makes us feel good. By every conceivable metric - arrests, prosecutions, duration of sentences, conditions of imprisonment - the United States is by far the most punitive rich democracy.

I can cite a chapter and verse of literature at the times saying Italians don`t speak our language, these folks coming from other places - it sounds identical to what you are saying about Muslims now. It really does.
