You have to connect with the crowd. If you can't do that, I don't care how good a wrestler you are, or how much muscle you have or how cool your hair is. You have to connect with the crowd. The guys who I like are the ones who have that connection.
Chris JerichoI like to do something different that people don't expect. That's what I've always been about, in everything I do.
Chris JerichoEverything's a challenge, man. You just have to take each dance as its own separate thing and just go for it.
Chris JerichoIn WWE there's a huge degree of acting you need to have to become legendary, to become popular. You have to become a great actor in WWE and that's something I've honed from a young age. I could never be the biggest guy on the show when I first started wrestling; it was all about the giants. But I could have the biggest personality, the biggest character.
Chris JerichoThe thing is, when you do a lot of different things and you have a lot of different projects on the go, each one feels more challenging and more rewarding than the last. That's why you do it.
Chris JerichoFake is not a word I like to use because there's nothing fake about what I do. It's a show, it's a predetermined outcome; we're putting on a television drama, action, comedy, whatever you want to call it - but it's not fake. Fake would be if I was just about to take a body slam, and my stuntman did it. Fake would be if I was going to take a chair shot to the head, and the chair was made of rubber. I'll tell the world that it's a show, but I hate the word fake. It's such an unfair term to us.
