Worries carry responsibilitie s that belong to God, not to you. Worry does not enable us to escape evil; it makes us unfit to cope with it when it comes.

Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door of resentment and the handcuffs of hatred. It is a power that breaks the chains of bitterness and the shackles of selfishness.

I prayed to dispel my fear, until suddenly, and I do not know how the idea came to me, I began to pray for others. I prayed for everyone who came into my thoughts - - people with whom I had traveled, those who had been in prison with me, my school friends of years ago. I do not know how long I continued my prayer, but this I do know - - my fear was gone! Interceding for others had released me!

And our wise Father in heaven knows when we're going to need things too. Don't run out ahead of Him.

.....joy runs deeper than despair.

What joy that the Bible tells us the great comfort that the best is yet to be. Our outlook goes beyond this world.

If we forgive other people, our hearts are made fit to receive forgiveness.
