Cristela AlonzoI love the Rio Grande Valley. I always say it's home - Texas is home. I've been out in L.A. a little over ten years, and I still get so excited when I go back home. It just feels comfortable; it makes me smile.
Cristela AlonzoI think social media can be harmful and helpful at the same time. I started in 2003 ... back then, we didn't have the connection to the rest of the world that we have now. The fact that we can make bad behavior more public, it makes us more aware.
Cristela AlonzoI think we need to have stories about women that don't necessarily fit the trope of the classic woman, because they do exist. We have to show real life on TV and film. And we don't.
