Most people can't handle boredom. That means they can't stay on one thing until they get good at it. And they wonder why they're unhappy.

My grandmother, she's been the positive portion of my life the entire time. She raised us Baptist, and when I got old enough to say I didn't want to go to church, she didn't force me. She was cool.

I had to overcome challenge after challenge in order to take my life from nothing to living my dreams.

At first, my love was just to be in the studio and make the music and enjoy it when I hear it played back, but then the biggest thing for me was to see the response of the people. When you go out and see the energy in the crowd, it's incredible.
