Anger is the ultimate destroyer of your own peace of mind

There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called Yesterday and the other is called Tomorrow. Today is the right day to Love, Believe, Do and mostly Live.

There should be a balance between material and spiritual progress, a balance achieved through the principles based on love and compassion.

Perhaps our teachings seem less religious and more technical, like psychology, so they are easier for secular people to use.

I describe myself as a simple Buddhist monk. No more, no less.

We can wake ourselves up, discover in ourselves an energy that was hidden there, and act with more clarity, more force.

The lessons we have begun to learn make me hopeful, that human beings will become friendlier, more harmonious, less harmful. Compassion and the seeds of peace will be able to flourish. At the same time, every individual is responsible to help guide our global family in the right direction. Good wishes alone are not enough; we have to take responsibility.
