Happiness cannot come from hatred or anger. Nobody can say, 'Today I am happy because this morning I was angry.' On the contrary, people feel uneasy and sad and say, 'Today I am not very happy, because I lost my temper this morning.'

There should be pluralism - the concept of many religions, many truths. But we must also be careful not to become nihilistic.

On those days when I can spend a few hours getting some understanding, I feel fulfilled. I feel as if I have made good use of my time.
