Buddha himself taught different teachings to different people under different circumstances. For some people, there are beliefs based on a Creator. For others, no Creator. The only "definitive truth" for Buddhism is the absolute negation of any one truth as the Definitive Truth.

If we are demoralized, sad and only complain, we’ll not solve our problems. If we only pray for a solution, we’ll not solve our problems. We need to face them, to deal with them without violence, but with confidence - and never give up. If you adopt a non-violent approach, but are also hesitant within, you’ll not succeed. You have to have confidence and keep up your efforts - in other words, never give up.

I believe deeply that we must find a new spirituality... in such a way that all people of good will could adhere to it... We ought to promote this concept with the help of scientists... It could lead us to what we are looking for.

A sense of contentment is a key factor for attaining happiness

An affectionate disposition not only makes the mind more peaceful and calm, but it affects our body in a positive way too.

If we can cultivate a concern for others, keeping in mind the oneness of humanity, we can build a more compassionate world.

Consider that not only do negative thoughts and emotions destroy our experience of peace, they also undermine our health.
