As we lose ourselves in the service of others, we discover our own lives and our own happiness.

Hope is one leg of a three-legged stool, together with faith and charity. These three stabilize our lives regardless of the rough or uneven surfaces we might encounter at the time... Hope in our Heavenly Father's merciful plan of happiness leads to peace, mercy, rejoicing, and gladness. The hope of salvation is like a protective helmet; it is the foundation of our faith and an anchor to our souls.

When the Lord commands that we must forgive all men, that includes forgiving ourselves.

Christlike attributes come into our lives as we exercise our agenncy righteously.

The responsibility of building leadership in the Church belongs to the father and the mother. . . . As youth grow and mature through their teenage years and move toward adulthood, the Church picks up an important role in this process of giving youth an opportunity to lead, but it begins in the home.

Let us resolve to be happy regardless of our circumstance.
