It is a wonderful fact that men and women saved by the blood of Jesus rarely remain subjects of charity, but rise at once to comfort and respectability... I never saw a man who put Christ first in his life that wasn't successful.

The Christian on his knees sees more than the philosopher on tiptoe. God sends no one away empty except those who are full of themselves.

The man that is popular with the world is not a friend of Jesus. You cannot serve two masters. The world hates Christ, and if you are a friend of the world you cannot be a friend of His. You may be sure that something is wrong with you when everybody is your friend.

We must have a warrant for our prayers. If we have some great desire, we must search the scriptures to find if it be right to ask it.

Our Faith must be tested. God builds no ships but what He sends to sea.

To be tempted is not to sin. The strongest attacks are made on the strongest forts.

God has called us to SHINE, just as much as Daniel was sent into Babylon to shine. Let no one say that he cannot shine because he has not so much influence as some others may have. What God wants YOU to do is to use the influence YOU have. Daniel probably did not have much influence down in Babylon at first, but God soon gave him more because he was FAITHFUL and used what he had.
