I've struggled in my life. I've had hard times, but I kept pressing on.

I've always cared about my personal style and the way people perceive me. I know a lot of times people don't get the opportunity to talk to me, so they're just going to see what I wear, see how I'm dressed, see how I present myself.

Well, it used to be Kobe Bryant... the second best all time.... now, I have a new favorite player to play against... my former teammate, LeBron James.

Places you go in life - it opens your eyes up and you kind of understand who you are.

At 9 years old, I moved in with my father because my mother could no longer care for me. Looking back, I now see so many similarities between my own childhood and that of my sons. My father stepped in when I needed him, and that gave me the chance for a better life. That's what I'm doing for my boys now.

I'm always telling my kids to be themselves and let their personalities show in other ways than with their mouths.

The biggest thing is to let your voice be heard, let your story be heard.
